It's not like everyone always has to put a huge disclaimer when saying anything positive about a game like this, but it often feels intentional when people are talking about the issues with a game and someone just jumps in to post a drive-by length post blindly praising it. I don't agree with how Pand put it in that second post, but I do generally agree with their initial post and Bufbaf's. I mean, if everyone on these forums must preface their positive comments about KCD by first renouncing the director, so be it, but it'd be nice to be given the benefit of the doubt! That said, you appear to attempt to suppress and malign the former discussion with your utterly uncharitable insinuation that being able to separate art from the artist means "not giving a fuck about other people" or makes one "psychopathic." You can be an empathetic person who cares about issues like systemic racism without being aware of or wishing to comment on the idiotic tweets of one particular racist asshole. Personally, I find the former discussion more interesting as a huge fan of the game, but I see why others are more drawn to the latter. The director has been an asshole and a huge tool as well, and there's plenty of discussion to be had there too. KCD is one of the most unique and immersive games I've ever played, and there's plenty of discussion to be had regarding what works and doesn't work in the game, and how it pushes the medium in an interesting direction.
